COMPORTAMENTO DAS VARIÁVEIS CARDIOVASCULARES DE JOGADORES DE HANDEBOL: IMPLICAÇÕES NO TREINAMENTO DA MODALIDADE

Introdução: O handebol, enquanto modalidade intermitente, apresenta aos seus atletas durante os treinamentos ou competições diferentes situações nas quais são requisitados os metabolismos aeróbio (pela característica de manter a intensidade dos estímulos por longos períodos de tempo) e anaeróbio (presente nos sprints, arremessos e outras ações curtas de alta intensidade). Objetivo: avaliar, a partir de revisão bibliográfica, a importância e o comportamento das variáveis cardiovasculares em atletas de handebol e verificar as influências do treinamento físico sobre essas. Desenvolvimento: as exigências que recaem sobre o sistema cardiovascular trazem significativas alterações nas variáveis que indicam o trabalho de seus componentes, tais como a pressão arterial sistólica (PAS), a pressão arterial diastólica (PAD) e o duplo produto (DP). Conclusões: durante uma atividade dinâmica como o handebol, a PAS dos atletas tende a sofrer um incremento nos seus valores, enquanto a PAD tende a se manter no mesmo nível ou, ainda, tendendo a leves decréscimos. A interação entre os sistemas respiratório e cardiovascular aumenta a complexidade para o técnico ou preparador físico quando da elaboração e acompanhamento das sessões de treinamentos.Downloads
