Este trabalho apresenta uma revisão da literatura, de 1990 a 2003, a respeito dos protocolos de tratamento fi sioterapêuticos na reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior, enfatizando a importância da fi sioterapia adequada a cada fase de tratamento, visando a evitar problemas posteriores nessa articulação. O estudo comparativo dos oito protocolos de reabilitação analisados, enfatizou seis itens que são de suma importância para o êxito do tratamento: fase de utilização de órtese bloqueada a 0º de extensão; tempo de utilização de muletas; tempo máximo de ganho de ADM; exercícios resistidos em cadeia cinética fechada; aplicação do teste isocinético; fase de retorno às atividades do esporte. Conclusão: Não houve consenso em nenhum dos itens analisados neste trabalho, mostrando que o assunto ainda está em aberto para nova discussão.Downloads
