ASSOCIAÇÃO DE FATORES DE RISCO CARDIOVASCULAR EM MULHERES COM NORMO E HIPERTRIGLICERIDEMIA ASSOCIATION OF CARDIOVASCULAR RISK FACTORS IN WOMEN WITH NORMO OR HYPERTRYGLICERIDEMIA

A hipertrigliceridemia é fator de risco para doenças cardiovasculares, assim como o sedentarismo, a obesidade e a hipercolesterolemia. O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar fatores de risco cardiovascular em mulheres com e sem hipertrigliceridemia. Mulheres entre 18-68 anos foram divididas em dois grupos: NT (n=65; triglicerídeos <150mg.dl-1) e AT (n=54; triglicerídeos >151mg.dl-1). Todas foram medidas e pesadas, tiveram a pressão arterial aferida, responderam a um inquérito de atividades físicas e foram submetidas à dosagem do colesterol total, HDL, LDL e VLDL. Os procedimentos possibilitaram o cálculo do IMC e o dispêndio energético total. As variáveis entre os grupos foram comparadas por meio do teste t de Student (p<0,05). Houve diferença significativa na concentração de triglicerídeos (NT=91,0±24,4mg.dl-1; AT=205,9±47,4 mg.dl-1) e não houve diferença significativa para idade, estatura, IMC, PAS e PAD. O grupo AT apresentou maiores concentrações de colesterol total, LDL e VLDL. Houve diferença entre o dispêndio energético (NT=2059,3±407,8kcal.dia-1; AT=1749,4±326,9kcal.dia-1). Mais de 60% das mulheres apresentaram pelo menos um dos fatores de risco para cardiopatias. Os dados deste estudo permitem postular que a atividade física mantém índices mais saudáveis de triglicerídeos. Há associação entre altos níveis de triglicerídeos e altas concentrações de colesterol total, LDL e VLDL, fartamente descritos na literatura como fatores indutores de doenças cardiovasculares por seu potencial aterogênico.Downloads
