O suporte nutricional é imprescindível nas neoplasias, principalmente em casos cirúrgicos e na constatação de perda de peso e desnutrição. Esse estudo de caso tem por objetivo relatar a evolução clínica e nutricional de um paciente (gênero masculino, 54 anos de idade) com diagnóstico de neoplasia gástrica, submetido à gastrectomia total e com o desenvolvimento de uma fístula esofágica. O paciente recebeu suporte nutricional oral e parenteral, durante a hospitalização, com o objetivo de atender às suas necessidades nutricionais e evitar a desnutrição que se instalava. O paciente manteve seu estado nutricional de desnutrição, mas apresentou ganho ponderal de 1kg durante o acompanhamento hospitalar.Downloads
