Abstract

The article proposes a conceptual framework for organizational communication for strategic use in the front end of innovation. Using the Design Science Research (DSR) method, five categories were defined: structure, components, characteristics, roles of communication, and actor profiles, each with specific elements. The importance of these categories and elements was validated by experts in technology-based companies through an online questionnaire. As a result, a framework was presented that outlines the relationships between categories and elements, capable of aligning communication with innovation strategies.
