Mapeo de patrones de incivilidad en línea en las elecciones brasileñas de 2018

Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es mapear y analizar patrones de descortesía como fenómeno desatado en las redes sociales en línea, en las páginas de Facebook que expresaron su apoyo a la derecha y extrema derecha en las elecciones de 2018, un contexto marcado por la polarización y la agresividad en Brasil. Realizamos una investigación cualitativa en quince páginas de Facebook en el Estado de Minas Gerais, y el material empírico fue sometido a análisis de contenido. Los resultados apuntan a la presencia de desconocidos en la difusión y validación de discursos de descortesía online. El artículo contribuye a la comprensión de cómo las redes sociales, específicamente Facebook, pueden fomentar discursos de incivilidad, aportando conocimiento empírico sobre la incivilidad online en el contexto político brasileño de derecha y extrema derecha, estimulando reflexiones sobre prácticas inciviles, sus especificidades y sus posibles consecuencias en la contexto organizacional y social, que también hace uso del espacio virtual.
