Abstract

 

A pandemia da Covid-19 impactou diretamente a cadeia de suprimentos e o gerenciamento de riscos se tornou um desafio para os profissionais desse setor. Considerando tal contexto, a presente pesquisa buscou analisar as ações adotadas pelos profissionais de supply chain para minimizar os efeitos da ruptura das cadeias globais de suprimentos em decorrência da Covid-19. Para tanto, no primeiro momento foram identificados na literatura os principais impactos causados por essa ruptura na cadeia de suprimentos. Posteriormente, foi utilizado o método qualitativo de caráter exploratório para classificar esses impactos conforme a sua natureza e o seu grau de severidade e verificar as ações tomadas pelos profissionais do setor para mitigá-los. Os resultados indicaram que os efeitos da pandemia resultaram em mudanças que afetaram as empresas, principalmente financeiramente, fazendo-se necessárias ações como o dual sourcing e a busca por fornecedores locais para a obtenção dos resultados almejados.

He also has a Specialization in Applied Logistics and Supply Chain Management - UNILASALLE (2006) and a Post-Doctorate in Production and Transport Engineering UFRGS (2014, 2016). In the business sphere, he has experience in the area of ​​management and consultancy in Operations and Services in Logistics and Networks, working on topics such as Storage, Distribution and SCM.
