Internet of Things and intelligent systems on journalism: the concept of presence diluted between the narratives of urban complexity

This study discusses the integration capabilitiesof networks and information flows in the citiesenvironment from intelligent systems in supportingthe journalistic production process. Startingfrom an expanded hierarchy of issuers, whichincludes nonhuman entities connected fromthe category called Internet of Things (IoT), wepresent the insertion journalism model and itspossible use to increase the perception of relevanceamong content consumers, also allowingthe exploration of new narrative forms. The paperalso reports the initiative, now underway, totranspose the theoretical model described in anapplied proof of concept called Jumper project,an immersive environment for the distributionof news, supported by urban environments withhigh density of connections.Downloads
