Introduction: The elderly represent a risk group in the Covid-19 pandemic, due to multimorbidity and immunosenescence, increasing mortality and contributing to post-Covid-19 Syndrome. Primary Health Care (PHC) is crucial in the prevention and rehabilitation of the elderly. The Education through Work for Health Program (PET-Saúde) strengthens this role, through teaching-service-community integration and interprofessional education. Objective: To describe the educational interprofessional experiences of students at PET-Saúde. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive experience report. The project lasted one year, involving health professionals and students from different courses, divided into five Tutorial Learning Groups, carrying out activities in five Family Health Units in Recife-PE. The project had training, territorialization and intervention phases. Results: In the training phase, participants completed online courses on elderly health, which were later discussed in conversation circles. In the territorialization phase, 393 elderly people were visited, identifying the various consequences of Covid-19 for elderly people's health. In the third phase, workshops on self-care, nutrition, fall prevention, physical rehabilitation and oral health were held, with the participation of around 20 elderly people per workshop held. Conclusion: PET-Saúde facilitated interprofessional education and teaching-service-community integration, promoting a holistic view of elderly care. The workshops strengthened PHC and promoted the autonomy of elderly people in post-Covid-19 health management. Experience highlights the importance of interprofessional programs for collaborative, patient-centered healthcare practice.
